Logline
Storms and fires ravage their worlds. Two figures seek solace, and a cat turns into a man, as climate’s forces shape life itself.
Synopsis
Two figures, living apart, search for solace in a world unraveling. Storms gather over the sea while fire consumes the forest, elemental forces converging as ecosystems collapse. In the midst of this rupture, a cat transforms into a man and departs as a mythic rupture within a vanishing world. “Marisma” is a sensorial fable on humanity’s fading reverence for water. Inspired by the water myths of Mesoamerica, “Marisma” unfolds as a sensorial slipstream fable, a reflection on humanity’s fading reverence for the fragile balance between life, land, and water.
