Synopsis
“Marisma” traces two solitary figures navigating a world in collapse, as storms gather over the sea and fire devours the forest. In this elemental unraveling, a cat transforms into a man and departs in a mythic rupture within a vanishing world. Inspired by Mesoamerican myths, the film unfolds as a sensorial fable on humanity’s fading reverence for the fragile balance between life, land, and water.
